The position has a global orientation where you provide support to customers all over the world and also to our own subsidiaries.
A man on the phone in technical support at Micropower
As Global Technical Support at Micropower, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive the best technical support.

Your duties will include:
  • Technical support for the entire product range (batteries, battery chargers and software-based products such as portals for remote monitoring and similar) via phone, e-mail and chat.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of electronic equipment, both in our workshop and, if necessary, on site at customers in Sweden and abroad.
  • Support internal customers as well as other production, quality and application departments.
  • Document completed work in our case management system.
  • Participate in development projects as a service and support representative.

To thrive in the role, we see that you are service-oriented, positive and like working with other people. That you have a natural flair for service and always putting the customer first are important qualities in you as a person, as well as you understand the value of working quality- and safety oriented. You find it easy to present and communicate information and enjoy customer contact and helping others. The work is carried out both independently and together with colleagues, so it is important that you are unprestigious in your way of being and not afraid to step in where help is needed at the moment - you need to be a team player who is there for your colleagues. You will be part of a team where you support and help each other.

To succeed in the role, it is important that you communicate freely in Swedish and English.

For this position you need to have;
  • Technical education in electricity/electronics, preferably university engineer or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic and electrical equipment, preferably in CAN-controlled power regulation, battery charging/control, car electronics or integration in various vehicles.
  • Knowledge and experience of network and IP communications, including remote support via Telnet, SSH, Team Viewer and similar solutions.
  • We see it as meritorious if you have experience with high-current applications, cloud-based services and portals.
The position is full-time starting according to agreement and you will have your workplace at our office in Bromma.
