Sustainability Report 2023

Micropower Group's Sustainability Report 2023 is published and available to read.

Climate change, population growth, and increased urbanization are reshaping the transport and infrastructure landscape, altering expectations. In all our endeavors, we focus on how to minimize our climate impact, enhance resource efficiency, and conduct business responsibly.

At Micropower, sustainability includes responsibility for both positive and negative environmental and social impacts, derived from our operations. As part of our commitment to electrification, we positively contribute by providing efficient and optimized battery systems that generates value for our customers, employees, shareholders, suppliers, local communities, and the environment. We address negative impacts through long-term goals and a clearly defined strategy, aimed at reducing or eliminating their effects.

The Sustainability Report 2023 outlines the progress made towards achieving our goal of carbon neutrality by the year 2045. Additionally, it details specific activities and the goal fulfilment related to our key focus areas.

During 2023 we have, among others:

  • Laid the foundation and started the construction of our new battery and charger factory, which contributes to our sustainability profile regarding construction, electricity supply and working environment.
  • Implemented a loop truck for our transports in the local area to reduce CO₂ impact and make deliveries more efficient.
  • Developed new products designed with effective material choices, which have high efficiency and long life.
  • Further developed our employer brand and conducted leadership training for managers and leaders, to create a great workplace for our current and future employees.
The report is published and available to read on our website.
