Sharp 30

Sharp 30 48/60

SC4340

Sharp 30 48V/60A industrial battery charger.
Sharp 30 is a 1-phase 230 V industrial battery charger with an IP54 enclosure, designed for harsh environments. As an option the Sharp 30 can be delivered with an IP66 enclosure. Sharp 30 is available with capacity up to 3 kW.

SHARP SERIES

The Sharp series consists of energy-efficient High Frequency industrial battery chargers. They are regulated, primary switched chargers with charging curves that suit most battery types and applications. The charging process is optimized so that the battery is fully charged in the shortest time possible, with as low water consumption and wear on the battery as possible. Many of the Sharp chargers are a perfect choice for onboard charging.

CHARGING

The Sharp battery chargers are controlled by the integrated microcomputer. The chargers are equipped with 1 to 3 charging curves as standard, including in most models one with ionic mixing, which efficiently reduces the charging time.

STATUS

Charging progress is indicated by a diode that glows orange during charging, green at full charge and flashes red if an error occurs.

SAFETY FUNCTIONS

– The charger requires a counter voltage from a battery in order to start.
– The outlet is protected electronically against faulty connections and short-circuit.
– The charger works with different shutoff times. If these times are exceeded, the charger is turned off.
– Automatic output limitation if cooling is insufficient.
– Soft start before the charger reaches full output.

Safe Disconnect

All our industrial High Frequency battery chargers will automatically start when the battery charger is connected to the battery. Likewise it will automatically stop when the charger is disconnected. This option eliminates the risk of sparks when disconnecting the battery charger.
