The Micropower DX14 24V/12V 100A is a high efficiency battery equalizer designed to maintain voltage and charge balance between two 12 V batteries connected in series in a 24 V electrical system. It enables reliable and continuous supply of high current 12 V loads from a 24 V battery bank without causing battery imbalance, reduced capacity, or premature battery aging.

Developed for demanding industrial and mobile applications, the DX14 uses advanced switch mode MOSFET power conversion technology to actively regulate the battery midpoint while delivering up to 100 A at 12 V with an efficiency of 96 % at rated power. This ensures stable 12 V power availability while protecting the lifetime, and availability of the 24 V battery system in machines where both voltage levels are required.

Applications
The Micropower DX14 DC-DC equalizer is designed for industrial machines and vehicles that operate with mixed 12 V and 24 V electrical architectures powered by a single 24 V battery system. Typical applications include construction equipment, off highway vehicles, forestry and agricultural machinery, material handling equipment, and other industrial mobile industrial machines.

In these applications, asymmetric 12 V loads, such as ECUs, control electronics, sensors, lighting, communication systems, safety devices, and auxiliary equipment, are often connected to the battery midpoint. Without active equalization, this leads to battery imbalance, reduced usable capacity, increased charging stress, and shortened battery service life. By continuously maintaining midpoint voltage and charge balance under dynamic load conditions, the DX14 DC-DC equalizer helps OEMs improve system reliability, battery lifetime, machine availability, and total cost of ownership (TCO) across the entire equipment lifecycle.
