Every Access charger is built around a microcomputer control that converts AC power into exactly the DC power the battery needs. Six pre-programmed charging curves cover conventional charging and several levels of opportunity charging, within the power limits of the unit. The control adapts continuously to the battery's temperature, age and condition, which helps the battery last longer.
Operation is kept simple. A backlit graphic display and control panel make programming straightforward, and the information remains clear in any lighting. Each charger stores up to 1,800 charge cycles of data, and a wireless radio comes as standard across the range. Together with the BMU battery monitoring unit and the Service Tool software, this forms a fleet management system that grows with your needs, from first-in first-out battery rotation to full remote data collection from a central location.
The range is available in two cabinet formats. The wall-mounted Access Charger is a light and clean package for mounting on a wall, post or strut. The Access Shelf Mount is made for shelves and charger stands, requires no additional stand, stacks up to three high, and is available in dual circuit as well as 4 to 8 multi circuit versions. Chargers can also be connected in parallel for fast charging.
With an efficiency of up to 96 percent and a power factor of 0.95, the Access range makes good use of energy through every shift.

Works seamlessly with Micropower Access chargers
When paired with any Micropower Access charger, the BMU handles charger configuration directly. Temperature monitoring is a mandatory input to the charger for fast and opportunity charging. The BMU also indicates charging capacity and cycle life, providing the information needed for efficient, long-term battery usage.NFC technology for instant access
Through Near Field Communication, data collected by the BMU is accessible from any Android phone. Just download the BMU mobile app, select the battery, and the data is in your hand. Data can also be retrieved via the Access Service Tool on any PC, then downloaded and transformed into graphs for battery fleet planning.Improved features
