Micropower Group is the main company consisting of 8 subsidiaries in different countries of the world. The headquarters is located in the town of Växjö, Sweden, where the main production and innovation center are located.
Micropower Group is a supplier of systems and products for batteries and battery charging and has been providing the industry with powerful solutions since its founding in 1984.

Micropower Sweden AB
Micropower Sweden AB is Micropower Group’s largest company, with locations in Växjö, Göteborg, and Bromma.
Växjö is home to Micropower Group's global headquarters and its flagship 25,000 m² battery and charger factory, the company's most significant investment to date. This state-of-the-art facility houses production of lithium-ion batteries, battery chargers, and power converters, along with an R&D center for battery and charging systems and corporate offices for several group functions. Founded here in 1984, Växjö remains the heart of Micropower's innovation and manufacturing operations.
Micropower's Gothenburg-area development center, located in Mölndal, is dedicated to advancing lithium-ion battery technology and systems. This facility serves as a key R&D hub where engineers design and refine next-generation battery solutions for industrial applications. The site expanded to larger premises to support the company's growing development activities.
The Bromma site near Stockholm is home to HF SM Power Innovations AB, supporting the group's broader product and technology portfolio in the Swedish capital region.

Swede Electronics AB
Swede Electronics AB, part of the Micropower Group, is based in Vansbro, Sweden.
Swede Electronics specializes in the production of battery chargers for automated aid equipment and the industrial sector, such as electric wheelchairs, vehicles, and cleaning machines, as well as the design and manufacturing of customer-specific electronics. The company also offers comprehensive service and support for its battery charging solutions.

Micropower Oy
Located in the technology and development hub of Salo, Micropower Oy operates its own production site with deep expertise in onboard charging and customized products for industrial applications. The Finland facility serves as one of the group's key R&D centers and its second major manufacturing location.
The company was formerly known as Powerfinn Oy before it changed its name in 2020 to Micropower.

LEAB Automotive GmbH
Located between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, the LEAB site in Busdorf (Schleswig-Holstein) develops and manufactures mobile power supply solutions for emergency, special, and commercial vehicles. With over 30 years of expertise in the automotive sector, the team delivers reliable systems, from chargers and power feeds to battery solutions, serving fire departments, rescue services, police, and commercial fleets throughout Europe.
As of May 2026, LEAB Automotive GmbH officially becomes Micropower GmbH.

Micropower Group's newest sales subsidiary, Micropower S.R.L., established in Turin, strengthens the company's presence in the Italian market and the broader southern European region.

Micropower LLC
Micropower LLC's North American office in Troy, Ohio supports assembly, customization, logistics, and engineering for the U.S. and Canadian markets. The team markets battery and charging solutions including energy-efficient high-frequency industrial chargers, modular lithium-ion battery systems, and power supplies for various industrial systems. The Troy office also houses an engineering department focused on rapid prototyping and design validation.
