大型车辆需要高压系统
随着大型车辆的电气化，高压产品变得越来越普遍。迄今为止，对于功能强大的车辆和机器而言，内燃机是唯一的选择。如今，许多主管部门和环境都要求使用无化石燃料的车辆，这一事实加快了高压产品开发的步伐。已经开发出了更高能效的电池化学方法，智能的电池模块化概念为电动叉车、商用车和其他工业机械铺平了道路。
高压系统 - 从 24-120VDC 到 400-800VDC
当今的设备具有更大的功率需求，并且电池容量也更大，以延长两次电池充电的间隔时间。 由于需要快速且高效的充电，因此对充电场合提出了更高的要求。为了避免过大的电流，必须提升电压。过去 24-120VDC 就足够了，而如今二次侧电压在 400-800VDC 的越来越普遍。
集成式高压充电产品
新的高压技术可实现完整的电池系统，在该系统中，车辆和带充电机的电池都完全集成在一起。这是快速充电和车载充电的基础。
出于电缆尺寸的原因以及传统的三相主电源电压 3 x 380-480V 都更接近于相应的整流电压 400-800VDC 的情况，高压更有利于储能。
