About the position
In the role of test engineer at Micropower, you are part of a system group that tests and verifies all components in Micropower's battery system. You share and develop your innovative ideas together with competent colleagues in a creative environment. Your main task is to test and verify the functionality of the software for these systems. The testing is performed at both component and system level through manual and automated tests. The work includes developing automated test methods based on test specifications and test requirements, performing system verification of electronics and software in the systems, and continuously evaluating and documenting test results. The work also includes troubleshooting and investigating the systems for continuous improvement work regarding both hardware and software. As a test engineer, you also develop and construct the test equipment itself, including in a new mechanical workshop in collaboration with colleagues in the hardware team. You are also responsible for testing the modules in an environmental lab (climate tests, temperature cycles, etc.)

Education, experience and personal qualities
• University education at least university engineering level in a relevant field
• A couple of years of experience in system-level testing (hardware and software)
• Good understanding of electronics and software in embedded systems
• Experience in test automation/automated testing
• Good knowledge and understanding of C, C++, Simulink, Python. LabView and Veristand are meritorious
• You speak and write freely in English
