The role of Compliance Director includes a broad area of responsibility for ensuring that Micropower Group meets the regulatory requirements and product standards regarding all products and markets that Micropower operates within, with a focus on North America and Europe. In order to increase knowledge and ensure compliance in the area, close cooperation with both the PMO (Project Management Office) and product management is required. You also support the market organization, participate in customer meetings, and with your knowledge, you create security with our partners.
The responsibility includes monitoring changes in legislation and industry standards that affect Micropower. Identifying and assessing potential risks of non-compliance and developing strategies to manage these risks will be part of the new department's duties. The contact surfaces will be broad both internally and externally with supervisory authorities and other stakeholders in matters relating to compliance.
As Compliance Director, you report to VP QEHS (Quality Environment Health Safety) and are an active participant in the management group for QEHS as well as presenter within the group management regarding Compliance issues.
Experiences
We believe that the right person has a corresponding role today. You have an academic education combined with solid experience in the area of Compliance from a manufacturing company where R&D activities have been significant.
You have international experience with a focus on the EU and the USA, where you worked with e.g. the Battery Directive, the Design Directive, CE and UL certification.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English is a requirement.
Place of residence with proximity to one of our sites in Sweden: Växjö, Stockholm or Gothenburg.
