Micropower is now taking another step to build and develop a world-class Service and Support organization. Together with our newly recruited Service Director, the Service Manager is responsible for organizing and developing the work within the Service Department in Växjö. As Service Manager, you have a key function and both strategic and operational responsibility for the development of the service and support processes for the group's products in Växjö. The purpose of the role is to ensure high customer satisfaction through continuous improvements in accordance with the department's and the group's overall strategy.

The responsibility is strongly development-oriented, which means developing the routines and organizing the work for spare parts, service, training and warranty matters both internally and externally with customers and other partners. Improving follow-up via metrics and case management systems are other priority areas. The service manager is also a representative/requirement setter in larger R&D projects.

The unit currently consists of 8 directly reporting employees with responsibility for service and support, spare parts, warranty commitment, repairs, training, etc.The service manager reports to the Service Director for the group.

We believe that the right person has a solid technical education and experience in a personnel management position within service and support at manufacturing companies. You have experience working with service and support on technical products via remote support and software-based troubleshooting. Good user knowledge of CRM and business systems as well as good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing are other requirements.

As a person, you are used to handling many different issues in parallel and have good strategic, analytical and communicative skills. You are a modern, confident and experienced leader, with a high understanding of the soft values, which creates long-term and successful relationships. It is important that you see the big picture and that you are thorough in creating participation and training staff before changes are implemented.
